Hi All,

Next gathering will be on 02/28 late afternoon, probably early evening (around 6PM). We will go for dinner then comedy club around 8:30PM. This time you have RSVP to Orchid mborchid2@yahoo.com . Send your screen name, email id (of course), real name and phone# to contact and #of person(s) -Adult only-. Detail later when we get closer to that date.

Hey guys,
The Improv in San Jose doesn't have anything scheduled for 2/28, at least not yet. It may be a bit early. I can keep my eye on it or we can devise alternate plan for SF (San Francisco to be clear).

Whatcha guys think?

Dinner and bowling at a real bowling alley where the parking isn't $20.00?

Orchid, it is better to laugh at than being laugh at ... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> .

There is $8.00 parking (stacked) but you choose the $20.00 ones. LOL!.

At my age the laugh lines are being pulled down by gravity. Any reason to laugh is healthy....well almost - <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

As for the 'stacked parking' vs the garage well.... I drive a car not a hot wheels car! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> That stacked parking lot looks scary! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

SF Bay Area V.5 - Valentine's Day

T1 and I are planning to go salsa dancing in San Francisco on Valentine's Day...anyone care to come along? It's sooo much fun, it should be illegal.

Whew! I just got back from my weekend in the snow and ice of Sequoia, and I'm beat! We didn't quite make the summit we'd planned on - started too late on Saturday - but we got some great instruction on crampon use and avalanche safety at +10,000'. I'll have to post some pictures on Yahoo.

If I'd been able to take my salsa lessons like I'd planned, I'd be in for the 14th, but... things have conspired against me the past couple of weeks. I'm sure I'd be a danger to my partner right now! Sounds like fun, though.

Welome back JR,

I think us older ones are going to have to live through our dream of adventure through you. LOL!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Glad you had a nice time. See some of us (maybe just me) don't have to go stress out my body in the cold and wet snow to feel all achy. I can do that just getting up in the morning. LOL!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

As for your salsa lessons, I think the girls are way ahead of you. Isn't the guy suppose to lead? Hm.... better hurry up with the lessons. I hear they are going out again soon! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

take care,
L.

Hi Ya'll,
Wow, it took me a while to find this thread. It was well buried. Let's shake the dust off of it.

We are still planning on our Feb get together. We've had to change the plan a bit. Redhat and I have been doing a little research and we have a fun evening planned. We will be getting together on Saturday the 28th at around 5:30 or 6ish. If you are interested in learning more, please RSVP by email to mborchid2@yahoo.com.

I hope everyone can make it! It should be a "hoot"!

Rats - I'm in Philadelphia that weekend visiting the grandbabies. Let's see....which sounds better....dancing and dining with fun people or babysitting two very spoiled children... I am *not* a good Nana - still too much Mom in me!! But if you guys are dressing up and going out on the town, is anybody going to take pix???

Ok...I really want to go salsa dancing next weekend. I know supermom and T1 have said they would be interested...but I don't have supermom's phone number!!!

2/14 is only a week away! If you guys decide you would rather not...I'm going to an anti-Valentine's Day party. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Has anything been scheduled at the comedy clubs in SJ? I think Aisha Taylor is coming to Cobb's here in the City on that last weekend of the month.
