Hi all, This is live from Fesno <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> ... World Figure Skating. I am very sad & angry that the mom of my 2 D doesn't even give a [censored] about her 2D performing and competing here. She wasn't happy with me and left me ... I could take that but she is MIA from here. I guess I am having a hard time seeing parents comes from all over the world supports/cheering for their kids and she lives only 2.5 hours from here and MIA. RH ... Survivor of an A.

I know you are hurt but not totalling surprised. Been doing this long enough to know that her A is a continuing selfish act and only a matter or time that she will and has put this on others (including her children). <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" /> How sad. I am fortunate enough to realize that this was a lost cause and put the closure to it (plan B, DV'ed and in NC up to now). It is just sad what WS is missing ... She had not been in National & Regional competitions for 4 straight years. It is priceless and precious moments.

RH, Your girls are blessed to have you there. You put in the effort and they see that. Years down the line when their mother wants to be part of their lives, they won't have the time for her. Kind of like that song "Cat's in the Cradle." They will always be in your life because they will love and respect you for what you have given them, yourself and your time. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> Cathy

I don't know what damage would do to my 2D down the road. I know I do my best and continue to do so ... but not even a phone call to 'em.

How proud you must be to see your daughters compete! Sorry about your dreary X, I feel for your daughters.
Figure skating is extremely popular up here. We have a facility with an international reputation for churning out world champions including Kristi Yamaguchi. Maybe we'll see the RH girls make it up north of the 49th one day.

My youngest has the talent for inline too. She is working hard to go to Rome for next year World's (InLine). She saw her competitors next year.
In this show number, Spain's team got Gold, Italian's teams got Silver & Bronze. Both US teams didn't place. We enjoy the sport for family activities and environment. Competition is secondary.

I saw Brit's skaters, they are competitive too ... Italian, Spainard, and Argentinian take this sport way too serious.
