Last weekend a big group of my friends were going bowling. It was all couples. (I'm currently part of a couple, however the other half was off hunting...)
I have found that my circle of *close* friends changes depending on my couple-status.
The friends I have been closest to the last few years are mostly single. I found that I lost the closeness with some of my gal-pals when I didn't have a SO.
Being the 5th wheel is no fun.
