Just thought I'd share my milestone...I am half way through my weekly chemo treatments and I still have my hair! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Christmas was good in our house-the kids and I all hung out together. WH came to make breakfast and be with the kids.
He gave me $ to send my boys up skiing. That was a surprise. He is also taking them to a side-job with him tomorrow. They will earn some extra $ and be with him for the day. That hasn't happened since before he left.

I have no idea what is coming next-but this whole experience has taught me to just be still and let God be God. And I can actually say I am at peace.

My mother calls this a "severe mercy", learning to be able to depend on God's love and sovereignty in trying times.

Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement.

I like your mom's way of thinking.

And I'm so HAPPY that you are half way through treatment. I hope you treat yourself to something special to celebrate.

Wonderful news, JT! You're half way there hon. You sound good and strong.

BTW, I too am in the PAC NW - Washington. How'd you fair with our wind storm a few weeks ago?

I'm in the Skagit Valley and we are used to wind up here. It whips down the North Cascades.

Although we made it through the wind with no power problems, since they've started fixing the lines near the house, we've lost power for a few hours a couple of times but nothing like my twin-John-who lives in Snoqualmie. They were out for over a week.

How about you?
