So for all those Plan B’ers and other abandoned; what’s your plan for Valentine’s Day evening?

I am going to walk to Dave and Busters and have some of their Cheese Steak Egg Rolls and watch some basketball. mmmmmmm......so good, and so good for you. Great Happy Hour prices too, not that that means anything to me.

The temperature should be around 10 degrees when I go, just slightly cooler than during my last couple attempts at SF with my WW prior to D-Day.

I will raise a solo toast to you all.

I'm going to hit the gym after work then go home and have a steak dinner. This day is a wash for me as well as tomorrow; my B-day. Although I'm planning to celebrate my B-day this Friday.

Happy Birthday Mike!

mmmmmmmm, steak...

I found that going out with friends to celebrate my birthday helped to remind me that people really cared for me, they loved me, I'm loveable. It reinforced what I had been repeating to myself for so long. It was GREAT!

Going to stop for an adult beverage at the local watering hole on my way hope from work. Happy hour.

Then it's cooking a New York Steak dinner for myself.

Gotta be awake at 9:00 to watch "Lost".

Exciting stuff!

silent, I agreed with going out with friends but Friday is a better night to party up with some of my friends. I think the hardest part for me to go thru on V-day and B-day is that my kids are not with me. This is my WW's week for their custody.

I set another boundary when it comes to VD (Valentine's Day, that is.)

I calmly told WH that I did not want anything from him as long as he was planning on giving anything at all for VD to the women he works with, as I know (now) that he has done for many years - but that of course he was free to give them as much as he wanted.

I also told him that I did not get him anything because I did not want to be a face in the crowd of women who were giving him VD gifts. They are, of course, free to give him all the VD gifts they want - I just will not be a part of it.

I got cards and candy for DD, DSIL, both DGDs, DS19 and DS19's (male) friend who lives with us because he has no place else to go.

It was fun to get those things for them.

Me? I'm going to hit Target tomorrow when they put all the sugar-free chocolate assortments on sale.

Mmm . . . sugar-free chocolate.
Mulan

P.S. The TV show *Cheaters* is having their Cheat-A-Thon today, running episodes all day long. I plan to drop in for a while a little later on. A great way to celebrate VD!

Going out with friends is a great idea... the only problem is all my friends are married. I'm not quite in plan B yet but I plan on watching Gaurdian (hopefully no infidelty in this movie) and just trying to keep my mind off what dat it is.

still,

if you throw yourself a party, it doens't matter who shows up, and in what state of matrimony, as long as they show to support you.

AT my birthday dinner, three couples showed up, and those that did show up stag all were either married or had significant others. I did not care. I had fun.

SL,
I just meant about tonight it being a "couple" thing. Other days I know I have my friends and stuff.
I'll throw myself a party for my B-day in April

I am bummed, up here in the northeast we got hit with the first big snow of the season. a few of my friends are in a similar sitch with broken R's and we were all going out to have a NON Valentines Day celebration. got snowed out, so I ended up with reheated spaghetti sauce and Harry Potter with the kids.

Oh, not to mention WS trying to break my plan B by showing up to go "sledding" with the kids...brought me a single red rose...wretching!!!!!!!!!!
VD is now my fav day of the year. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Fightback -

Two years ago, WH showed up with a dozen roses. Then he was taking OW out for dinner. Everyone here knows the story. I saw OW drive by, and took the roses to her house and gave them to her. The next day, WH came over again, roses in hand, and very angry. OW had thrown them out in the street. The roses were looking a little straggly.

Staying inside with the kids. WW bought things for the kids to give to me... after running them over with the car, I threw them in the trash can.

Made a pot roast with all the fixings, good eats.

LOL

Hard to tell actually... it was pretty messy after I was done. I have enough chocolate anyway.
