Well, we had a CVS done two weeks ago. Got to see the baby on the monitor also. Saw all of the fingers and toes, so that was good. Plus the heartbeat.
The sample they took they ran genetic tests on it to make sure there were no issues (Downs Syndrome, etc). They do this since Mrs. MM is 36 which makes this a high risk pregnancy.
Well, the results came back today and the baby is completely healthy!
Added to that, the test will also tell you whether it is a boy or girl. My wife, daughter and MIL all wanted a girl (since we already have two boys).
Well, it's a boy!
I told my daughter that just means she will not lose her Diva throne or have to share it with another diva!
Anyway...God is good.
Now I need to change my stuff below to show the new one in my bio!

How did they know it was a boy???
Did they look real close at the image and see a baseball glove on his right hand or a couple of dangling mini-mortars between the legs?????? <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
Congrats. Thanks for sharing.

Congratulations to you and your family!!!
What an incredible testimony you and your family have. Your kids will be able to look back at your faithfulness and your walk and they will be able to see how God was with you through all of this. You have given your kids much.

CVS is a DNA test done with a needle. It's not an ultrasound. DNA tests tell you about things like Down Syndrome and other genetic problems, as well as the gender and parentage of the baby. Mulan

Mulan Right!! But, as they did the CVS, they had the ultrasound there so they could watch the needle go where it was supposed to go. And of course...we got to see the little one (they said he is only about an inch and a half tall right now...talk about being vertically challenged!!)!

May God continue to richly bless you and your family. You are a testament to His faithfulness and the life He calls us to live as husbands.

Congratulations from me, too!
I have two girls and one boy....the only time they even ventured to guess was when I was having a boy..LOL!
They couldn't say with "certainty" it was a girl if the "timer" wasn't showing...could've just been hiding!

NOW Thanks NOW! That's why I only trust this because they did the DNA test...and there is a Y chromosome in there.

Congratulation Mr. and Mrs. MM!
Just found out that I'm going to be a first time "Grandpa" in October. Now I guess I really have to confront being an "old fogey." <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/crazy.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/eek.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

JL JL...thanks! You have been one of the few here since the beginning of all of this. I am sure you remember when I first came on here, ranting about how my marriage was over!! You are one of the first ones to get me grounded and reattach my head to my shoulders. So, you had a hand in this also!
