I thought I would drop in and post my ultrasound results from today.
I am 18wks pregnant now... and the baby is doing AWESOME!!!
Heartrate was 147 bpm!
The DR says everything is great and he is very pleased! As are we!

And, the baby is a BOY!! So another Boy for Stacia Lee!
Poor Lil Bit... she wanted a baby sister so bad, that when the Tech announced it was a boy, she burst into tears.
As we were leaving the Dr's office, she said But Momma, I wanted to put ponytails in her hair.
Poor baby girl. She wants me to try again for a girl, but I am not up for that.
This was shock enough.. and I'm not getting any younger!

Miss you all!
Hope to drop in again soon.

Stacia

Awww, poor Lil' Bit. frown But she'll get used to the idea in no time, especially knowing she will still be mama's little helper, or more like a little mama herself!

So happy for you!

(btw, I thought of you yesterday on your b-day... it was obviously a VERY HAPPY one! but Happy Birthday anyway! :))

Thank you so much, everyone!

Yes, I am sure she will be fine with the new baby. She was such a big help with Mac, even though she was only 2, and she continues to be to this day!

I have to say, 41 has got to be one of my top 3 favorite birthdays.. LOL

That is a wonderful text to hold in your heart.
"Is anything too hard for the Lord?" ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!

I was 34 when I had Mac. And I am now 41, and pregnant WITHOUT fertlity drugs this time!

When it is the right time, it can happen. Patience and FAITH, even a tiniest bit of faith is blessed!
I made up my mind years ago, that I would not concern myself with getting pregnant again.
I would not go chasing another baby, but that if the Lord wanted me to have another child... so be it!
When I prayed, I asked the Lord to take the burden of worrying about getting pregnant and handle it HIS way.
I completely gave over my worries and just relaxed, knowing that it was no longer mine to worry about.
And VOILA! Here I am, pregnant!

I truly believe that the Lord works in mysterious ways.
Many of those ways can be painful, but there is ALWAYS a reason for them.

A wise Evangelist, named David Ring, once said...
"Why do bad things happen to God's people?" I fully believe that its to make us see that we NEED HIM.
And when we give our worries over to Him completely, we often find blessings in abundance!

Ok... I'm done with my mini-testimony...
Hugs to you, too migs!
And many prayers!

Stacia

Congratulations!

For 17 years, my D was the only girl in the family. She had 3 brothers and always wanted a sister. I didn't think she'd ever get one, but here we are. Even though my D is away at college now, she adores her little sister.

I worry sometimes that my LO won't have anyone to grow up with, since her next nearest sibling is 15. It doesn't seem to be a problem so far, since my 17 year-old has the mentality of a 5 year old. He teases her and bugs her and plays with her, just like any other kid would. Go figure.

I'm sure she'll come around once the baby is born. My D swore up and down she wasn't going to have anything to do with her brothers, but she loved them to pieces once they got here. Not so much once they were all teenagers, but I guess that's to be expected.
