I hope this is not in violation of any board rules...

If you are interested in obtaining a living trust or even consulting about other matters, you may consider purchasing a pre-paid legal plan to keep costs to a minimum. I have personally used Hyatt Legal Plan and had a great experience with it:

It is not available in all states. For $395 you get one year of use. I used it specifically for a living trust. Stores like Staples sell Do-It-Yourself forms and there are some kits/forms available for purchase online but you also get other services for the annual fee and I still found it was cheaper compared to going to an attorney without the plan. A living trust is NOT the same as a will.

I'm a big advocate of having a Living Trust especially those with minor children. See the tabs that show covered benefits and exclusions.

Many a good man has failed because he had a wishbone where his backbone should have been.

We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot.
