Okay, I'm like the last person in the world who needed to read this RIGHT NOW. But some yayhoo sent it to me and so I read it and passed it on.

1. Sex is a beauty treatment. Scientific tests find that when women make love they produce amounts of the hormone estrogen, which makes hair shine and skin smooth.

2. Gentle, relaxed lovemaking reduces your chances of suffering dermatitis, skin rashes and blemishes. The sweat produced cleanses the pores and makes your skin glow.

3. Lovemaking can burn up those calories you piled on during that romantic dinner.

4. Sex is one of the safest sports you can take up. It stretches and tones up just about every muscle in the body. It's more enjoyable than swimming 20 laps, and you don't need special sneakers!

5. Sex is an instant cure for mild depression. It releases endorphins into the bloodstream, producing a sense of euphoria and leaving you
with a feeling of well being.

6. The more sex you have, the more you will be offered. The sexually active body gives off greater quantities of chemicals called pheromones. These subtle sex perfumes drive the opposite sex crazy!

7. Sex is the safest tranquilizer in the world. IT IS 10 TIMES MORE EFFECTIVE THAN VALIUM.

8. Kissing each day will keep the dentist away. Kissing encourages saliva to wash food from the teeth and lowers the level of the acid that causes decay, preventing plaque build-up.

9. Sex actually relieves headaches A lovemaking session can release the tension that restricts blood vessels in the brain.

10. A lot of lovemaking can unblock a stuffy nose. Sex is a natural antihistamine. It can help combat asthma and hay fever.

Jan,

You know, I mentioned many of these things to my wife, especially the headache thing and of course the exercise, not to mention I thought she look beautiful when I could see all of her body, etc.

So thanks for posting this, as I see I could have helped her solve many of her body issues, if only she was a bit more willing.

Now I wonder where I can go volunteer to be a research subject for this kind of work, LOL.

BTW, I'm 38 and I'm getting my FIRST ever cavity filled on Friday...

Tony

Jan - Thanks for sharing that, I guess. I'm in the same boat you are. Maybe it will encourage those around here with their spouse's still at home. More power to 'em! It is frustrating to see information like this and it is stuff we sometimes already know, we just aren't allowed to apply it! Oh well, better days are ahead. God bless!

Advise here, now that we're on the S-E-X subject. My H is purposely distancing himself from me, won't kiss me on the mouth, only on the forehead. I have done a lot of emotional damage to him over the years, and now he has fallen out of love with me, living here for the kids, etc... Should I initiate sex? Could this drive him to push me away farther because I am trying to get closer? I know prior to this, I would initiate thinking the worse thing he's going to say is "honey, I just worked 16 hours, I'm too tired", but now I am in a whole different ball game and it's not the fear of rejection, him telling me he's not in love with me anymore pretty much topped off my list, now I have a fear of pushing him over the edge.

What do you all think?

Well, as you can imagine, since the emotional isolation and separation began with W, there has been NO intimacy, or hugging or kissing. I guess when they start down their own path, I am left here. And yes, I do miss what I thought we shared, even the simple squeeze of a hand.

"1. Sex is a beauty treatment ... makes hair shine and skin smooth."

Well I'll be, heard that same thing. Topical is good. HEHE.

I should give that one to my W. Now I know why she uses all those lotions and creams, because we ain't had no sex since Sept '03.

You all seem to be focusing on the wrong aspects of this issue here. So - I'm enlightening you.

Read closely

1. Sex is a beauty treatment. Scientific tests find that when women make love they produce amounts of the hormone estrogen, which makes hair shine and skin smooth.

MEN who seem to desire sex more frequently than women - often LOOSE their hair - and their skin isn't necessarily smoother. I've never heard one of them brag about the amount of estrogen in their system.

2. Gentle, relaxed lovemaking reduces your chances of suffering dermatitis, skin rashes and blemishes. The sweat produced cleanses the pores and makes your skin glow.

I've heard that pregnancy causes the same problem.

3. Lovemaking can burn up those calories you piled on during that romantic dinner.

Most men object to plying a woman with a romantic dinner before sex - unless you call oral by candlelight dinner?

4. Sex is one of the safest sports you can take up. It stretches and tones up just about every muscle in the body. It's more enjoyable than swimming 20 laps, and you don't need special sneakers!

I like special sneakers - they keep my feet warm during the daytime so when I get into bed I don't need someone to warm my feet.

5. Sex is an instant cure for mild depression. It releases endorphins into the bloodstream, producing a sense of euphoria and leaving you
with a feeling of well being.

I'm not generally depressed --- I'm an ENFP - depression only comes for a moment then I forget why I was depressed and everything is okay again.

6. The more sex you have, the more you will be offered. The sexually active body gives off greater quantities of chemicals called pheromones. These subtle sex perfumes drive the opposite sex crazy!

That's why you guys buy us perfume for every holiday right??? Or worse - that's why you FART on us during sexual encounters?

7. Sex is the safest tranquilizer in the world. IT IS 10 TIMES MORE EFFECTIVE THAN VALIUM.

It's a good thing one of us can sleep.

8. Kissing each day will keep the dentist away. Kissing encourages saliva to wash food from the teeth and lowers the level of the acid that causes decay, preventing plaque build-up.

I'll ask my dentist for a kiss - when I see him - SOON.

9. Sex actually relieves headaches A lovemaking session can release the tension that restricts blood vessels in the brain.

Men give women headaches - they should be responsible for relieving the pain.

10. A lot of lovemaking can unblock a stuffy nose. Sex is a natural antihistamine. It can help combat asthma and hay fever.

Have you ever noticed sex and crying can have the same effect on a person?

Okay - I'm really just playing around here - I don't get sex so - I might as well enjoy the laughter... or be deviant enough that others get a laugh.

Oh, and by the way - what is this S-E-X thing people keep referring to here? Is it some new form of exercise or stress reliever? Is it sold in any store? Can I chew it or is it inhaled? Will my beagle enjoy it?
