Weird dream this morning just before I woke up. Not sure who all the kids were, just my boys - and more kids. My Aunt and my Uncle who passed away just after XH left, and we are staying in this family's (I do know them - but only met them a few months ago) home in Denver and they have massive water problems in the basement while we are there. We leave there and we are driving my car (the one I got when I graduated) and my uncle's truck. Auntie takes all the kids and I'm in the truck with my Uncle and Sean. Everytime we stop at a stoplight Uncle gets out to fix something in the back of the truck, goes over to the side of the road and sits down. Auntie is getting further and further away in my car with the other kids. There's a water leak and my Uncle won't get back in the truck so I leave him there on the side of the road. I tried to catch my Aunt and she has YS and they are driving further and further away. OS and I are just lost in traffic and the rest are just going away...And I wake up as my Dad gets in the truck and asks me if my job is pretty much full time or what...

To dream of children is a fortunate dream usually, many children is that there will be many prosperities and happiness. To dream of dead relatives usually means (as long as they are happy) that there are things to be done-like you will be called upon to care for someone or people. The most important thing is the journeying you do, and the way you must stop to fix it. The journeying symbolizes travel of quick succession, posibly travel for a purpose...but the leak signifies a loss, possibly the family in Denver may lose something, since the dream revolves around leakings and waters, like your Uncle is stopping and is trying to show you that this needs to be fixed..that their loss could be thwarted? If your Aunt is taknig the children, I cannot find anything on that..not too sure why she is taknig the kdis away and you cannot catch up.

George ---

Who pays you to annoy me???

Just wondering - I figure it must be feeding your ego somehow - and since money is your key it must be payment... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

I dunno, amybe it is your uncle trying to say he keeps stopping because there is unfinished business with him and your aunt has the kids because she is showing you she is happy?

OH pick me! Pick me!

You have a TON going on in your life. Notice you are always aware of where your children are? That's because they are the most important
people in your lives and no matter what ever else is going on in your life, you are always aware of where they are. You weren't aware of who all the children were because you are sometimes feeling responsible for OTHER'S
children too, and carry this vague sense of responsibility for kid's you don't "know".

You have a lot of relatives in your life who's lives are out of control
and dysfunctional and you can see things that would "fix" but you
know that you need to keep good boundaries and refrain from that unless
you are finally forced to do that.

The panic over your aunt driving away with YS represents that out
of control feeling we have when we realize we really do not have control
of our children. They are on loan to us from God and even though we try
to protect them and keep them "close" ultimately there are situations where we have to trust them to a Jesus and let them go.

"That" tears at the heart of ANY real mom.

I "hear" frustration, loss of control and a sense that you have some real competency
that folks around you just don't seem to realize and that cause frustration.

Oh .. and one more thing ... waking up to your Dad's comment? It was like this guy
just didn't "get it". In all that turmoil he was asking a really irrelevant question .....
MORE frustration ...... maybe a little inverted parental stuff too...

That will be $120 Jan ..... I take all the major credit cards as you know ..heehe

Jan you will be ok but you have to emotionaly disconnect from some of the people in your life and stop feeling responsible for everyone. You are a strong woman and people tend to drain people like you.

Slow down. Relax. Have some "me" time and trust God. It will all be ok. God is in control. You don't have to fix people's lives.

I don't feel like she's taking the kids away --- just that they are with her in *my* car. For some reason the CAR seems significant in this dream... Because it was the car I purchase when I graduated from high school. I know where it is - it's still being driven - but I no longer own it.

The uncle fixing things might have something to do with the whole thing - that seemed really significant (particularly since he was not Mr. Fixit before he died).

This is really the most quantifying dream I've had in a long time. There was one kid that seemed particularly significant - but I don't recognize him at all. He seemed older.

strange thoughts about this... honestly.

My thought is maybe it was representing an annoying poster here on these boards. From your description of the dream I feel like this poster isn't monetarily paid but get some weird sick joy out of it.

Water most times signifies emotions. Emotional energy in your life is leaking all over. YOU are the aunt giving your energy to raise your neices baby.

Your precious emotional energy is dripping and leaking and running away. Energy that YOU need for YOUR OWN precious life!

That makes a lot of sense. Maybe more than anything I was coming up with. Sometimes there's just a dream that you know holds deaper meaning.

Did you ever send another email to my yahoo account??? I'd love to corresponde with you.

I'm still kind of focusing on the statement Dad made in the dream...

Recently, I was told that he shared with a friend how he doesn't see me ever having a job, because I've never 'worked'... I hesitate to wonder what HE considers WORK - if I don't... But, then, I suppose to an outsider who just walks in and doesn't look at what I'm really doing - a proposal might look like I'm just typing out 'stuff' on the computer. And Graphics might appear to be childs play - after all - my younger son often plays with my graphics program and I occasionally use what he comes up with...

LOL

Maybe I am not WORKING after all... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> That's what I get for liking what I do...

I think this kid could be your grand-nephew...the little one that your niece leaves with you. Even though he seemed older, I think it could be him in your dream. You did say he seemed particularly significant...and he is in real life to you. That has been weighing on your mind lately.

I offered to do it for her for $120.00!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

I need to put in a qualifier here. I do NOT interpret dreams. That is not a good practice and could be in the realm of soothsaying .. not a good one! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

I do however believe that God uses dreams to sorta "speak" to us about stuff that is going on in our lives.

I have had a coupla of them that God I believe used to direct, warn, encourage, etc.

In the Bible an example would be the dream that Joseph had and was warned to take baby Jesus another route to avoid the wrath of Herod. Others were Daniel's dream, etc.

I do NOT believe every dream is spiritual in nature. I think MOST are just too much pizza.

However, like Jan said, sometimes you wake up and they just stay with you all day and REALLY get your attention to the point that you have to pay attention.

This seems to be one that God is using for Jan.
IMO ..

Do other's agree? (should I have made a new thread Jan?)

I'm telling - they're all picking on me... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

Okay --- seriously though Farmer, are you sure you don't want to step up to the bribe table along with hPK? It's a short step, takes no integrity to get there... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Okay Committed - I can see the kid as my great nephew --- he's got dark hair and I never really see his face.

L2L --- I'm thinking the GSN thing won't work - unless he's the thing in the back of the truck that my Uncle is fixing... Then again I can see this - my dead Uncle fixing an old Engineer... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> ummmmmm new twist here... That would explain the water leaks... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Okay - I have to quit picking on George - I'll hurt his feelings. <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" />

Guess, I should apologize to Steve for cluttering up the board and clogging the filters --- but if I didn't the board would get really boring with just engineers and lawyers cluttering things up with logic.

Hugs around --- cuz everybody needs one.

Dzzz --- I'm not sure what I would do if one of my threads actually stayed on topic. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> I'm probably as guilty as anyone of shifting gears in the middle of the lane. I gotta tell ya though hPK upped your price and I've always heard you get what you pay for - but I always credited that to George having had too much pizza... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> or maybe it's just his choice of shopping locations... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> ARGH...

There's gotta be something good come of this conversation ---

Maybe all the terrible stuff in my life will stop now that I'm dreaming up solutions... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="images/icons/blush.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Don't you see??! That's it! The answer to "our" unemployment problems .. yeah .. I see it all really clearly now .. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

We are supposed to go into business together and start a business interpreting dreams. We are supposed to charge a min of $200.00 .. most of our clients shall be lawyers and engineers...

We'll dream up stuff and what we don't dream, we'll MAKE UP!

It's perfect......

Whataya think?? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
