I hasten to add that Dr. Harley doesn't suggest that approach for men.

I think it's an important thing to realize that none of this MB "stuff" is intended to be a way to excuse yourself into abusing your spouse. And pointing out how "right" you are because it's written here somewhere or "Because Dr Harley says..." won't get you very far either. Just a couple of tips for those reading along...
