I have been posting off and on for 18 months. Lately a number of people have decided to leave. I have seen this happen before, but not so many at once.
I feel this is natural and maybe even positive. I don't want to see anybody leave, but life must go on for us all.
I have stopped for long periods of time when I started feeling it was keeping me stirred up in a negative way.
When I start posting complaints and wanting sympathy instead of posting questions, seeking and giving advice, then I spiral down again.
I would like to see the "Feel" of the forum change. I don't feel that anyone needs to leave in order for that to happen. I have noticed a lot more of a judgemental attitude on many of the threads. Some lost tempers and people taking offense. I fear that we are discouraging new participation.
I want us all to feel welcome and to benefit from this.
I have healed a lot and I am trying to reinforce that by staying here and being positive. I have used the forum in the past to fuel my resentment and pain instead of healing it.
I hope others can use this forum to heal as well.

It's Saturday night, I have my wine by my side, waiting for the "loved one" (we are on an up-swing at the moment...) to return from the video store. All I can say to the above is.............I'll drink to that!
Cheers! Happy weekend!
Lisa
