Since I last posted, the roller-coaster ride with my husband has gotten worse. things are absolutely nornal as long as i don't bring-up any of the issues. When i do, then I get accused of just wanting to "fight" and arguments, slinging matches and insults get hurled at me thick and fast!!!
There's just no consistency in his behaviour. He can be the most loving, caring man as long as I don't say anything - but turns into a vicious individual the minute i say something. Of course, in all of this, I have just been getting angrier and more agrressive - which doesn't help.
I'm not coping with this anymore. I've left once before and all that happened was that he got more and more angry and I feel like I was emotionally blackmailed into coming back - so I don't think that's an option.
Can anyone help - where to from here ?? i need some advice fast!!

BJ,
You said that you were getting counseling. Are you still? I'd suggest that you do.
If the major problem is still the MIL, you've probably got your work cut out for you. A suggestion would be for you to ask HIM if there are any areas of the marriage that he'd like YOU to work on. Listen to him carefully. Try to put a plan into place to do this, following the "Policy of Joint Agreement".
You may be able to teach him the methods here by applying them yourself. It's not easy, and it doesn't seem fair, but it may be a decent way to get it done.
