How can a married couple get along when one of the parties will not compromise or negotiate NO MATTER WHAT? My H feels that he has the final say in all matters because he is the H. He uses that line every time he wants things his way. He doesn't show that he cares for things that really mean a lot to me. He makes concrete decisions without even asking me what I think, or how I feel. It is so frustrating. He has put me in the situation many times of just having to go ahead and do what I feel is best, then gets angry when he feels I have gone against him. I am not his child, I am his wife. I would love to sit and just logically discuss things and share opinions and come to agreements. He just dictates his wishes and desires and expects that I go along, no matter how I feel. HOW DO I HANDLE THIS? It's getting to where I have NO say in anything anymore.

Sounds like your controling husband needs to change his ways or he will end up losing his wife. Did you know about these things about him before you married him? A good and successful marriage will revolve around communications. Seeking a good councilor will help. I learned alot about myself after several visits to the marriage councilor. Try to get him into the docs office in a tactfull and caring way. Most of us men will not want to go or dont think we need to go. I know that from first hand knowledge.<BR>Good luck...
