Just a little update from an old-timer.
Went into plan B on May 19th as a result of obtaiing an order for protection (good for 12 months) - this time I was in the emergency room for my head being cracked open.
Will update more later.
Need prayers.

I'm so sorry.
If I'm reading this right, I'm thinking Plan B should really be Plan "File a Physical Abuse Charge" instead.
Please tell me you haven't been enduring this kind of treatment since you last posted.

Hi Jo, LH, E and Newly:
It has been abusive for the past 12 years - just this time I HAD to go to hospital. The other times it was just bruises, financial abuse, emotional and verbal abuse. - one time he broke my rib - but I wrote about that on MB.
I had a mental evaluation and I am not crazy! woohoo that is nice to know.
I am sad - but hopeful, does that make sense?
I am sad because it didn't get better. I am hopeful because I don't think it can get worse, only better!
There are still lots of loose ends to take care of, and lots to pray about. That is what is getting me throught, the Lord.
Thanks for replying, the prayers and encouragement.

I am sorry to hear about this physical abuse.
After being around here for far too many years, I am beginning to doubt if there are any real recoveries. Far too many people come back years later recounting events even more awful than what they first endured.

tnt,
what kind of recovery time are you looking at? When you say your head was cracked open, are we talking head wound that needed stitches? Or was your skull fractured? Tell some more details when you're ready.
