I have one pie in the oven Pecan it is, pumpkin one on the counter waiting, a blueberry, lemon mergnue, and an apple ready to go!!!

Am cutting up the stuff for the stuffing! And making deviled eggs, the green bean casserole is together and in the fridge.

Have all the serving pieces out and ready to watch.

And here I sit on the computer!!! Guess I needed a break!!!!

So what are you doing? I'll be back to check as the timer just went off!!!!

Wow, you're a lot busier than I am!

I am hosting just a few of my family tomorrow (there'll be 9 of us in total) and we don't eat until mid-afternoon, so other than baking my first pumpkin pie, I've not done a thing!

I don't stuff the turkey. We have Stove-Top made, where else?...on top of the stove! I will put all the casseroles together tomorrow, throw the turkey in the oven in the morning, and then scurry around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get the house in order before company arrives.

I could do some of the cleaning/prep tonight, but then I'd break tradition. Why would I want to do that? My golden rule: PROCRASTINATION!

So I'm typing on here, trying to convince myself to at least go out and get a couple things from the store that I need. But it's cold out tonight. And I don't want to go out. Maybe the celery and Cool Whip will just magically materialize in my fridge??

Well, I have cooked 2 pumkin pie, 1 chocolate pecan pie, one ham, (gralic cheese grits, cranberry crumble, the country ham is thawing, for breakfast) dressing, sauce for lasagna(for next wk), cranberry salad, the sweet potatoes are cooked, just need to mash and put the good stuff into it; turkey thawed and green beans ready to cook...and it is just the boys and me.....no wonder I'm depressed.......

i really need to move all the papers I need to grade off the table so we can eat...

my os who lives with dad, (dad is overseas in Saudia at the moment) is hosting a Thanksgiving with friends tonight, he was so funny, coming over for recepies, and money of course, calling from the grocery store.....guess it went or is going well, he hasn't called any more......

Thanksgiving dinner went well!

Lots of leftovers! How creative can I get? My SIL taught me a new one, turkey salad! So will try that!!!

It was such a good day that I even have a man spending the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ok it's a little man, my grandson!!!! My D's and SIL are going shopping in the morning and this way I don't have to get up, just don't know if we'll ever get to sleep!!!! UGH, now I rember why I had kids when I was young!!!

X called from Korea to talk with kids today and when they got off the phone they had set up for grandpa to see the baby online, D came out from computer room and was mad as dad couldn't stay online for even 5 min as he HAD to call his W!!! His loss!! To bad he doesn't realize the damage he does!!!! Selfishness!!!! Amazing how stupid people become after an affair!!!!

Oh well, I had a Happy Thanksgivig!! Pastor had a great sermon on being THANKFUL for all of the blessings daily not just once a year!@!! I had been thinking this a lot lately, things have been very good the last couple of weeks.

There was a job posting for the ISS position at my school, my mom had started the concept at the school 17 years ago and retired 2 years ago, I knew then I wasn't ready to take on the job. Thought about it alot this time, but really like the job that I had too!!! Can't tell you what made me do it but I walked into the principals office and asked if he thought I could do the job or not and it was practically handed it to me!!! Monday will be my first day alone !!! My YD bowled in a scholarship tournament last weekend and took 2nd which means that she adds $325 to scholarship account. So I am thankful for many things on a daily basis, the problem is that I forget sometimes to tell God that I am thankful! Need to work on that!!!

Hope that everyone elses day was good and the weekend will be good too!!! We have our local parade of lights, and my SADD kids have a float entered and a booth set up to sell baked potatoes as hand warmers, unfortunately not all of the potatoes got pickied up and I have 40 lbs to wrap tomorrow!!!

Good night!
