1 yr and 4 months... of nuthing! - Marriage Builders® Forums

Our marriage is now One year and Four months.. Before we were married we were the most perfect couple ever! He use to shower me with presents, buy me flowers and use to make me feel so beautiful and good about myself! I mean he use to try and get my attention.. When suddenly I fell into his spell! Yes, I fell deeply inlove with him.. After four years we decided to Marry.. Straight after our marriage.. I started to notice that our social life has gone down slowly and our friends has stop visiting us.. (besides my girlfriends.) Anyway, we gave up drinking altogether because of our arguments... AND practically everything else!! Hes such a control freak! Even though we love eachother like crazy! Oh and after the marriage GAINED I've so much weight! We dont really spend alot of time together anymore! HIs excuse is..'Well honey we sleep together @ night is that enough?', and now Im starting to see a new side! Hes starting to disrespect my Mother..Honestly I dont even know whether he loves me? Am I lost? What should I do? You see theres more to it than this! Not acussing you of anything but what have you done to show you love him' like buy his favorite thing. For me if Gf bought me something for my hobby I would kiss her butt. sometimes the small things count. Buy him a coffee, or take him out. When he is cutting the grass do you take something out for him to drink. My GF sometimes smacks my butt when she walks by.
Men don't general get flowers but get him something that is the equalvant. What is his favorite food. I would kill for her laqania. you know garfeilds favorite food.
for me I will always make it a night out every payday so we can spend time together. Sometimes she even take me.
Don't fall into a rutt. keep it interesting.For me I going to try to get a weekend with no kids and find a hotel with a fireplace and a jacuzzie and spend it there. And beleive me there will be no survivors.231

There are somethings that are just for her. Like she likes cow things(black and white)so there has alway been a cow seat cover on her side of the car cause that's her place. And when she is with me she never buys the coffee though she has bought on ocasion and I let her.
