Night after night, the Lord disturbs my slumber
On me, His shadow casts a number
Not an hours peace to close my eyes
His light shining throughout the skies

His words tug and nag at my soul
He calls my ways to a new whole
He shows me sins against family and wife
He begs me to start a new life

Awake in prayer for a fortnight
My exhaustion is only forthright
But daily I am replenished with the Might
To overcome my toils and dwell in His light.
