This is officially my first post here! WOW! First off I want to clarify that I'm *not* married to my man, so any ideas you might have need to be somewhat tame. ;-) <p>It's our first big 'event' together -- been courting for about 2 months & now it's his birthday.<p>Any ideas? Some of mine include:<p>-scavenger hunt to special places for us
-surprise party -- brunch, bbq, or dessert?
-2 hour drive down to a quiet beach town, visit the awesome aquarium & have a picnic, go to dinner somewhere down there & drive back
-????<p>Any other ideas??? His bday is actually mid week (2 weeks from today!) so I want to do a little something special for him on that day & then have the Saturday after be the big fun event. <p>Your suggestions -- even little tiny ones!! -- would be much appreciated!!!

Too soon for a surprise party. Save that for next year. I like your idea of going off to the quiet town and spending the day there. Very romantic and special. Does your boyfriend have family or friends that are making any plans for him as well? Don't clash with that if possible! There's nothing worse than putting your significant other in a position of choosing between you and their family/friends on occassions such as B-days! Good luck and have fun!
