I fortunate enough to survive adolescence with minimal acne.

BUT, now in the last 3 months, my skin has developed a life of its own and seems to be making up for all those lost opportunities. It is truly terrible! I actually went to the doctor yesterday and got a prescription to try to clear it up - it's got that bad!! Otherwise, I am healthy and fit, but I am inclined to put this attack down to the stress of the last 1/2 year...

Anyone else experience any similar adverse health effects? Acne or otherwise? I'd like to know I'm not the only one suffering here!!!

I have noticed a HUGE difference myself. But I have been exercising and my diet has included candy and oily foods as of late. I know my WW has broken out a lot herself. It's kind of funny though, we're reverting back to our H.S. days.

My stomach as of late has been twisting and turning more then it had been in a while. But that's because things are getting more on the border of heading north or south and a huge decision pending for both of us.

Oxycute them!

(well even that hasn't been working well for me)
When my XW was my WW, she broke out like crazy. She needed Quaker State to do her makeup.

Ah, man, that's mean....

Stress will do it every time I say. I have been a chocoholic all my life and drink waaayyyy too much Dr. Pepper so I don't think that's it.

It's the stress....or hormonal, I think, in my case as well.
I broke out also. Could be all the crying I've done. I eat better so I don't think its the food... Could also be stress... I've had lots of that!!! Doing better now, lost about 35 - 40 lbs. Feel alot better too!!! If nothing else, there is some good that came of all of this!

I don't think it's poor diet in my case, I eat quite healthily. I think it is the effect of the stress and emotional upheaval, maybe all those tears and having to wipe them away?? (The doc's first suggestion was hormal imbalance seen as I gave up taking the Pill up right after DDay .... )

Anyway, I will keep you posted as to how the pharmacological solution works.
Yes, my face is all broken out. I've also gained 30 lbs and have stomach cramps and insomnia. During a period of about 4 months, I vomited perhaps 20 times. It was clearly stress-related.

Acne Update ... for anyone afflicted with the same problem, and wants to know that there is hope!!

It's clearing up slowly. It doesn't embarrass me quite so much now.

Much like WH's affair, I suppose.
Yes, I too broke out terribly while I was involved in A with OM. I was a wreck, the guilt and stress of what I was doing was almost killing me, emotionally and physically. I lost a lot of weight, couldn't eat, I think my family was really concerned that I had an eating disorder. No one really had a clue what was going on. I looked horrible. I thought God was punishing me by making me break out, but then a good friend told me, He doesn't work that way that it was a consequence of what I was doing, something I had brought upon myself. She was right. Although it's been 5+ months since D'day, I am still having some skin issues and feel I have aged 10 years in the last year.

My acne has come back a little, but not too bad.

I lost 10 lbs in 3 weeks and I also have a recurring, red "infidelity beard" these days. Used to shave daily but now just once every week or two. Thought I was taking the easy way out but it actually requires the same amount of time and effort as shaving daily.
