I love the Beatles. When I was just out of college, I was dating a DJ from one of the local rock stations and he knew how much I loved the Beatles.
Well, one night he played hours of non-stop Beatles for me, completely ignoring the normal format and playlist. He nearly got fired, but earned some serious points with me!

DD18 and I watched it a few nights ago. She has seen it before, but it was my first viewing.
It's a very good movie, but definitely something you have to sit and watch to get what is going on. She said she has seen something new every time she has seen it.

In 1969 and 70 I played in a band (we were really awful, BTW) and we covered a bunch of Beatles tunes. One we actually did a pretty good rendition of was Back In The USSR which we used to open our last set for a while.
Then I moved to a country band and then decided my real instrument was a sound console....

not yet....but, my DD loved it and I just bought her the DVD....maybe I will get to see it this week-end....but, it will have to after Elizabeth, The Golden Age....which I plan on watching tonight.

Oh, and over the weekend, she made "celephone flowers of yellow and green" (Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds). Decoration for her room. she has a really cool room with so much stuff representing all the things she has loved through out the years.
