Hi everyone,
H has been living with ow for a few months now.We are in the process of a divorce, which I do not want.
I am seeing a counselor who is trying to get
me to accept marriage is over.I know counselor feels like I am stuck, and not moving forward.
Does this betrayal of a trusted one get any easier?Does the pain stop, when will I forget him,and especially how he betrayed me.I almost feel embarrassed at being so gullible. It hurts me to know that he had this all planned with ow,probably before I even knew she existed.
Waiting for life to get better, beth
Dear Alone, Its easy to get stuck in that rut. Try and redirect your NEW life. It takes an effort but you can do it. Focus on you, not him and what he did or is doing. Find new interests and employ your friends and family to help, get out, have fun, buy new clothes, flirt, etc, and if that doesnt work revenge always eases the pain. (just kidding) Send the ow flowers from "another man" that will ruffle some feathers. Cheer up dont let him get you down, I should talk. Damn guys.

Hi Beth,
I am having a hard time myself this week. No words of wisdom for you. Its so hard to think about letting go. We have no children and I dont know if its better or worse to know there is no reason to ever speak to each other again.
I guess they say just give it time. Dont you hate that? Seems like we have been living in this nightmare for a long time already, doesn't it? Keep going on, doing things, distracting yourself. Try not to obsess over him ( ya right) I guess we will get through it one day at a time.
lora
