my dh is at work and I'm hiding from the kids...my 3.5 yr old gs is visiting and, okay, I'll admit it...about one day is all I can take!!

I know why the Lord gives children to younger people...old ones like me can't hack it!
I went to a festival in the park at the temps were over 100 and I am beat, we were suppose to go to a music festival tonight, and I came home to watch movies that have to be returned tomorrow!!!

And yes that is why you are suppose to have children when you are young!!!! I know people my age just now having kids!!! UGH!!! 2 out of 3 are out and gone, the one remaining is 12 and still fun!!!

I'm at home nursing a cold!! Yes... a cold in the middle of July. UGH!!! The boys are all sick too. But I'm special... I got an ear infection too! I've never had one before, and it's driving me NUTS!!! It feels and sounds like there's water in my right ear... but that's not the case. I'm on an antibiotic for it but it has yet to start working enough for me to notice.

Other than that... I'm doing GREAT tonight! LOL. I'm finding myself getting anxious to get out and meet new people already... yes, I'm talking about single men. When my D is final... watch out world... cuz Karen is back!!!

I'm looking forward to this week though. Not a single doctor's appt, lawyer's appt, court appearance, no need to talk to the police about current stuff going on, no counselling set up, etc. It's a "me and the boys week". I'm looking forward to it so much... so I hope my cold goes away before it's done!

Karen,

I am sorry about you and the boys being sick, I've already had my summer cold, UGH!!!! is right!!

Glad to hear about a you and boys week, make sure you get a picnic and the park in there for me, that is the one thing I miss about my kids being older!!!!

Go find the thread that I started last week about forgetting how to flirt, there was some good stuff from formerly confused on there.

Have a great night!!!

My wife's Birthday was today, and we had some of her Family over - went swimming and then I fixed some real killer Margaritas! We all got slightly toasted - man those Margaritas will sure sneak up on you! It was 102 again today - so we chilled in the pool. I cooked some hamburgers and chicken on the grill out in back - everyone loved it!

Well I am as close to hell as one could get I think! I am about two hundred miles away from any thing that resembles civilization on a drilling rig in the middle of the Saudi Arabian desert. 120 during the day and around 75 at night. Spiders, scorpions and other critters abound. Hey when life hands you things like this you do the best with it. I think of it as my own personal beach, far, far away from the surf! LOL! Sand as far as you can see.

I know that Max Maxx and Road Warriors was filmed in Australia but this would have been the perfect place for it.

Anyway to get back to your question: TCB! Taking Care of Business!!!
Finished reading Harry Potter books 2, 3, and am chugging through #4 after having talked to a girl in Nevada I recently met on a church dating site. You should have asked about Friday night... I had a good one for that one. It explains the docility of my Saturday night!!! ;-)

6 hours heavy metal concert. [tries to move but am still too sore]
Watched a movie on the TV, while I and kids are rearranging the living room. Cleaning carpet, and furniture. So the living room will look nice. For a change. A frined of mine gave me a couch, that is so comfy, old one the wood was kicking you in the butt when you sat down.

To think of the sand and be where the wind raises the hairs on your arm. Ohhh... laying there and watching the sunset. Wonderful. That is the dream.
