Dear friends….

I thought I would drop in and give a little update on our little miracle.

I am now 8 wks along… had my first Prenatal visit on Monday…
And my first ultrasound. We got to see the baby.. and his/her heartbeat!!!!

What a miraculous thing to see! I was in tears. My closest friend was there to witness the wonder as well.

After the u/s, my Dr told me that there seems to be either a polyp or an abnormality with the placenta and he wants to have another ultrasound done, this time by a prominent University Hospital in our area.

My ultrasound will be this next Monday and I would like to ask all my dear sweet friends to say a prayer for the baby and me.

The Lord has brought us thus far… He won’t turn His back on us now.

We have not told exOW about the pregnancy… and we don’t plan to until I am at least showing… or until Lil Bit tells her… (we aren’t going to really get Lil Bit involved until the baby is kicking hard enough for her to feel it)
Don’t want any WannaBe’s coming out of the woodwork!

As for Lil Bit, she is growing like a weed! New words always coming… And expressing herself is beginning to be a new obstacle… The Terrible 2s have arrived.. EARLY she is only 19 months!!!

Thanks for reminding me what I can look forward to w/ our granddaughter. She's 10 mos old and moving around like lightening! Walking any time now!

I didn't get you this far to have an "abnormal" looking placenta to rob you of your joy...God is in control and He will take care of you. Have faith and BELIEVE....I've been cramming that down your throat for how long now? (only if I could follow my own advice! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" /> )

I got your e-mail, but have been laying low and trying to gut and clean this house of mine...I'll look for you later or call you later.

God is in control and I will be praying as God leads in this situation...

By the way, Bubba got his first haircut last night...he looks so much like a little boy now instead of a baby!

I forgot to tell you, the terrible two's start at 18 months....they don't print that in the baby manuals!

Isn't it amazing how fast the little ones grow up?!?! 'Lil bit is getting so big now, and beautiful to boot! I know what you mean about expressing herself being a new obsticle! Abbi is VERY verbal, and will let you know what she thinks, whether you've asked or not! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> Not to mention the songs she makes up!

Thank you all for your lovely words...

Here is the update I promised...

Went to the 2nd U/S today... carried my little picture from the 1st one to show the Dr and technician what my Dr was curious about.

The u/s went well... and they showed me everything that they were looking at... and there was NO abnormality that they could see...
What was there last Monday... was G O N E this week!!!

We saw the heartbeat again... so... as far as the Univeristy Hospital is concerned everything looks NORMAL!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
WOO HOO!!!!

Praise God for His goodness. Now rest, take care of yourself, drink plenty of water and take your vitamins, eat right and let your hubby do all the vacuuming, grocery shopping and laundry!
