A couple of days ago, my son asked me why I have to divorce his father. I only filed because WH was beginning to spend our joint money on his lifestyle with OW, and I had no way to legally protect myself and our children. I told my son because his father has a girlfriend. My son replied that it was ok for his dad to have a girlfriend and I could still be married to him...
Our son is so mixed up and confused right now. I repeated this to my WH and WH was upset... He hung up the phone on me. He really doesn't see what he is doing to his own children.
I do have our children in counseling, but the kids are afraid to talk to their father about how they are feeling. They only see him once every two weeks and their father plans one activity after another...never really asking about their feelings...just playing with the kids.
I have begun to get the kids' counselors involved. They have asked to speak with WH, but I am not sure if he will listen to them even right now...
I get so frustrated...
