There are numerous advantages to dating older women. Quite a few, in fact. So that you younger men will understand this, I will now give you a few advantages:

Cinderlla, you are joking about a subject that is very near and dear to me. As a man in his 50's I can assure you that women in their late 40's and their 50's are extremely exciting and attractive. As a group I find them to be intelligent, good-looking, creative, pretty, mature, fit, experienced, and very independent. At times they can also be very tempestuous.

They are a challenge to date, but also very rewarding to have as a girlfriend or a good friend. They have made me be a stronger man.

They run in my family:

My paternal grandmother was older than my grandfather.

Their oldest son married an older woman.

Their youngest son married an older woman.

Their middle son, my dad, married an older woman.

My first bf was younger than me.

Bachelor #1 was younger than me.

The Diplomat is younger than me.

But wanted to say, that I too have always been the older woman when I dated in school, and then married a younger man, (only by 20 days, but still)

I have only dated one guy since being d, and he was several years younger. In the beginning, it really bothered me, in the end, I thought WOW for me! How about a younger man thinking I'm something.

We have SO much to offer to a man. We know what we want, and we are willing to work at a relationship this time to make it a winning one.
No whiny babies to raise, no diapers, no strollers....
We have much more time to focus on our boyfriend.

I completely agree KK. As an older man I find older women to be absolutely wondeful. They are so exciting, free, and competent. As I said before, I have to be a stronger man to deal with them, but that's OK with me. The benefits of having an older woman as a g/f are immesurable.

Now I know where I went wrong!!! I always dated older men.
At thirty-eight I may qualify as an older woman. I met a good looking man yesterday, but he was only 32. I figured too young. Well, too young for somethings, but not for others. Oh, I'm just feeling devious tonight.

PS: Another benefit about older women, they don't imagine for a second that they'll die of a broken heart. The attitude is more like "Yeah, so what this didn't work out? It's not like I haven't lived through worse."
