Perhaps you've seen "POJA" which is the "Policy of Joint Agreement," Dr Harley's recommendation for marital negotiation.

DH = Darling (or Dear) Husband.

If the couple reconciles uses the MB principles, this is often the net result.
Posted By: rightherewaiting Re: Acronyms, Abbreviations - 09/03/10 10:06 PM
"Dear Husband" indicates that she no longer thinks of him as a "WH" or even "FWH." I've been known to use that nomenclature myself. My H is just my DH now.

That's what a good dose of recovery will do...

As in, "You and WW should stop talking about R."

Depends on the context. Used the way you've given it, "R" refers to "Relationship."

It can also refer to "Recovery," as in "my spouse and I want to R the M."

UA = Undivided Attention

This is the acronym used to signify the minimum time set aside every week for Undivided Attention. The minimum time need to maintain romantic love is about 15 hours each week. This is what Dr. Harley discovered through his research. To restore romantic love, a minimum of 20 - 25 hours is needed.

UA means, too, that the couple is focused on each other, with no children or friends around, meeting each others intimate emotional needs. No tv, computer, phone.

UA = Undivided Attention

All of the acronyms can be found by starting out by reading from the beginning of this topic thread.

Also, everyone interested in restoring their marriage to a safe, fulfilling and romantic level should at least put in the effort to read all of the free articles on this site, as well as purchasing the pertinent books from Dr. Harley which inexpensively aide you in the recovery process.

I would hope that anyone grasping at straws to fix their marriage would at least read through Dr. Harleys Basic Concepts and follow all of the links to addendum articles.

Isn't your marriage worth at least that much effort?

What about "bump"?
I see that on some threads and think maybe it means "I agree" or a way of saying "thank you"?

No, it has to do with the placement of threads in the index. Threads are sorted by those with the most recent posts appearing first. When a noteworthy thread sinks low in the list due to inactivity and someone want to bring it to the top, they post to it so as to "bump" it to the top. All that "bump" means is that the post was made to bring the thread back to the top of the forum.

Secret second life.

This usually happens when spouses are living independent lifestyles: going out without each other to gyms, bars and clubs; participating in hobbies without the spouse, but with the opposite sex - see Sue in the book Surviving an Affair.

However, SSLs can be fostered at home, right under the spouse's nose. Where there is an absence of technical (online and telecommunications) transparency, it is easy to conduct a SSL in the comfort of the home.

When a spouse travels overnight for work, a SSL is almost inevitable, by one or other spouse. The spouse that travels can stay in hotel rooms with a colleague, or the stay-at-home spouse can spend time with an affair partner.
