Hi all,
One year for our anniversary I planned a dinner out and a motel afterward. It was great. My normally talkative husband was speechless! He loved it. What I did was call his work to have him get out early enough for a dinner out that wouldn't be too late, cause it was a Tuesday. I went to a restaurant that serves good food and has private-like booths and pre-ordered our meals from appetizer, drinks, meal, dessert. I even prepaid it with the tip! I layed out a suit and a gstring for hubby on our bed. I left him a note for him to shower, put the gstring on and the suit and meet me at the restaurant. I told him I would be dressed up too. Also, I got some plastic champagne glasses, champagne and a cooler of ice to put it in, and also a couple of flowers to put in a 2 stemmed bud vase I picked up cheap. Brought all that with me. brought the flowers in the restaurant. I was there before him. I ordered my drink, and told the waiter that as soon as my husband was seated with me, that he should bring him his drink without asking for it. The waiter did just that...Husband loved my sexy dress and couldn't believe the drink was brought to him without him ordering it. This went on for everything we ate and drank. For dessert we shared cherry cheesecake. It was very romantic and special. When we were through, I said, "Leave your car here, I'll drive." I took him to the 4 hour nap motel nearby that has a hot tub, etc. I went in and got the room and he followed me in..I said, Wait, one more thing. Went to trunk and removed the champagne and ice and glasses. He said the anniversary was the best gift ever!

I am glad you had a great time.

This Saturday is the first anniversary for us since D-day. We have scheduled dinner at a local dinner theater. Everything is going well for us now so, I fully expect a great night.
