My 20th wedding anniversary isn't actually until September, but one thing DH & I have wanted to do for a long time is go to Hawaii. This year we made our dream a reality. We also included our 2 daughters, my mother in law and her fiance as well. We rented a house for 2 weeks and stayed on O'ahu. We saw just about everything on that island, I know we certainly traveled over all of it!!
It may be a bit excessive, but we knew this was a trip we wanted, we knew it was probably a once in a lifetime trip--especially since my MIL and her fiance had never been--and we knew it would probably be our last "family vacation" as our oldest DD will be a senior in high school next year and we will be focusing on college next summer.
I can't wait to get back there some day.
