Ok, I am a computer moron...and need help.
I sometimes see people posting and saying they read past IM's....
How do you DO that?? How do I find those? Are they really saved in the hard drive?? Can you really read them?
And how do I search for chat handles on the puter? I am at a complete loss on how to go about getting the truths of my life/marriage.
I am now very ready to know the full truth...no question about it. I am tired, weary and have given up hope that this man is true to me....I need some sort of closure that I am not "crazy" in my thinking...I want some peace now.
Too many red flags that need to come down and be burned once and for all.
Thank you to anyone who might share some insight and teach me.

Not all chat programs log automatically, but some do, and most can be set to log chats.

You can usually find them in a directory under the program's directory. Most chat programs (if not all) are installed under the Program Files folder in the root of your hard drive.

The best way to get the information you want would be to install a keylogger. The second best way would be to check your WS' computer as often as possible, and if need be set the chat programs to log the conversations.

If you can post more specifics (what program(s) are being used), we can give you more detailed help.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply.
I am not sure WHAT programs are being used. I, am a computer moron. All I know is we have microsoft internet explorer...if that helps.
I am not understanding HOW to set chats to log? How do I even FIND it in the puter to set....or if it is already set to log....how do I find it to read the chats??
How do I find the "chat handles" H has been using? There must be a way to discover all of that info, too.
Finding chat handles would be helpful in google search to see what he has been up to...
I cant install a keylogger <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
But, I CAN install google desktop. How helpful will that be in finding past chats, chat handles, porn, webcams, etc?? It takes a long time to install that, so I am waiting for the right time to do that when I know I have a lot of time to go thru it with key words.
This is a LOT of work!! I am exhausted, but am on a mission to find the truth.
Thank you for helping me uncover the truth.
Emma
