I thought it might be a good idea to start a book club of sorts - different thread for each book, maybe, and since LOVE BUSTERS comes highly recommended as one of the first steps to getting our marriages on the proper track, I figured this would be a good book to start with. This book by Willard F. Harley, Jr. is about 3/4 " thick and has a subtitle: Overcoming Habits That Destroy Romantic Love. The book is available on this site for $14.99 plus shipping. This is currently 25% off the regular price. You can even read the first chapter for free here by clicking on the link in the bookstore. If you cannot afford to buy a new book, you may be able to find it used on line or through your local library system. Personally, I feel better owning a copy so that I can refer back to it. Then if anyone needs some time to acquire the book, we can wait a week or so until you have it in hand. Let us know when you're all ready to start, and then maybe we can agree on a reading assignment and a day to meet here to discuss what we've read. I'll wait to hear back from whoever...

Good idea. ChrisNOVA has been journaling her thoughts about The Dance of Anger, chapter by chapter. I will have to get a copy of Love Busters, as I have not read it, only HNHN, and part of FILSIL, which I bought and gave as a very early wedding present to a young engaged couple.

Sure. I found my copy ML was gigging me about a couple of weeks ago over a step parenting issue while I was tearing the house apart last night looking desperately for something else. So I set it out of that box and it's by the door now as I'm late to work but here checking my boards and email instead of rushing. (bad TAC!)

Oh...I just figured I would put that on there, Chris, because there are liable to be people who pop in and want to join but will be better off starting a second round of readers because this first group would be further ahead.
I thought if this took off, we would need that so that there were different groups working together and no one would be lost.
So, I thought we could try to get a first group together and work simultaneously (as best we can) to get through the book as a group.
Do you think that might be a bad idea? This book club thing is a first for me.
