There are moments in a day When your heart is at rest and smiles inside. And you really don't know what will be around the next bend, But for this moment in time, your mind relaxes and thinks back on other times that have brought you smiles; And all you can do is just be thankful for these 'rest-stops' in time, and and the ones that have come and gone...telling yourself, tomorrow is another day.

Nice sentiment, LH. I get "rest stops in time" for sure. (Good descriptive words! )I think it's a great coping mechanism! In fact, I wish I could do it more often! but alas, they come when they will, and I like the authenticity of letting them come as they will. Are your poems like that? Lucy

Yep...I'd have to say that. Sort of like geyser where you have these emotions/feelings within you, and then when it's time to 'spew', it's the words that come forth. Call it a release, if you will. :-) And I gotta tell ya, I was in awe of your entry on the other thread there, the 'weather/husband' poem. You Yourself, are quite gifted with transforming feelings into words.
Nicely done. [ November 20, 2004, 08:00 AM: Message edited by: lighthouse ]
