I picked up the book this afternoon and spent the evening reading and praying. It's been much too long of a time for me since I have set aside time for prayer. Before we were married and even in the early years I would spend at least 1/2 hour everyday in personal prayer time. The last few years prayer has been more a passing thought. I haven't actually spent any real quality time with the Lord. Even going to church it's hard to focus trying to keep 3 kids quiet. I hope that spending time reading and studying this book will inspire me to make prayer a way of life again.
------------------
Love and Prayers
Nicole

I purchased the book last night. Read the first chapter and I'm already seeing things that make a lot of sense. I've also neglected my daily "quiet time". This is a great start in getting into the habit once again.
Also opened my eyes that I have to truly forgive him. Thought I had, but I guess I really haven't deep inside because I keep reverting back to "because of him I've lost my home, etc." I have a nice place to live and don't have the huge mortgage I had before. I should truly be more thankful start working on true forgiveness. God give me the spirit of true forgiveness so that the prayers for my H can be true and heartfelt.

Glad ya got your book!!!!
I went to the Christian Book store yesterday and bought one for my friend... I was amazed that in the marriage section in a Christian Book store that half of the books are on infidelity... Hmmm
Anyway, I noticed the author of this book has a daily prayer journal... somewhere to keep track of all this good stuff along with other things to jot down and pray for... ITs my next purchase I think...
cozy
