While divorcing, my WS STBXW (she filed) began sobbing when I mentioned some possibilities of women I might get together with.
Lately, been over a year now since she moved out and the divorce is final, she keeps wanting to know if I am dating. Months ago, she got in my face and expressed that I'd never find anyone else. (because I'm such a jerk I guess, you know how WSs are) I tell her it's none of her concern and she goes ballistic.
What's up with that?
Thanks,
Kevin

sounds like she doesn't want you to be with anyone else, perhaps she wants to believe that you care for her and will be there if she needs you.

My XH told me the only time that I have seen him since the divorce, 'It feels like you are still mine, so it hurts to think you've been with someone else'. You see you are right, they want to have it all ways. Anyway regardless of that you need to move on and 'leave' her behind this time...
Good Luck
Pantha

It has been 8 months for me this time and I haven't dated anyone really but I do get questioned about it from time to time.
She ask me again about a month ago and I told her that I went out on a date and would like to see this girl again.(It wasn't really a date but some friends introduced me to a friend of theirs) My WS started asking 101 questions which I told her that it was no longer her business about what I done on my own free time. (We share three children) Now everytime that she talks to me she asks me about it. She even started crying one night saying that she didn't want another woman raising her children and couldn't stand the idea of me sleeping with someone else. Hmmmm? She doesn't worry about that when she is bringing the OM around my children and sleeping with him!
It's a classic case of having your cake and eating it too!
This is not a Burger King kind of life, you can't always have it YOUR way!

Yeah good ol' WS's and their jealousy.
My xWW, when she calls our daughters, always makes it a point in asking me if I have anybody in my life to which I reply with a short 'no'. Just a few days ago she tells me I'm lying and that she's seen me with this woman around town a couple of times and that she is not good enough for me yadda, yadda, yadda. I then told her she's got nothing to worry about since it's only a sexual affair just like the many she had while she was married to me. She then hangs up the phone on me. I think it's more of the Neanderthal thinking. We are very territorial. We don't want anybody licking our lollipops even if we're through with them.
