Ahhhhhh! I love this game! (as they say in the NBA).
There are times when I get such a kick out of being here in MB. LS, rjr, Broken, all ya'll are such a hoot. We really do have to get some kind of reunion going sometime. It'd be a blast. Geee, how's San Antonio sound? (hint hint).
I'm sure you guys couldn't tell how much both Suse and I love visiting the Great State (that's right we're not from Texas). We were down in Dallas together last spring. Additionally, I was in SA a few months thereafter. I've got a conference there in the fall of 2000. Hyatt Hill Country, of all places, not too shabby. We just HAD to go visit!
As for Austin? Our bestest, bestest friends both went to UT. They're now in NM, but geez, are they Texan to the core. We just love 'em. So, any excuse to visit, we'll manage to work it out.
Oh, and btw...Janet. Speaking of shovelling? Hey, at least in Upstate they're shovelling snow mostly. You know how it is in Texas. Shovelling what? Why do they wear those boots?

On other notes, I agree with Janet. Moving is such an adventure. New jobs, new surroundings. Fascinating stuff, that. You two will have a blast. And, if you need any inside hints on what to do with yourselves up there? I've a few friends who could suggest. Not that you need 'em!
Back to Janet for a sec.... re: your comments on separation via Syracuse. Suse and I DO understand. We talked about you over dinner and a glass of wine tonite. We smiled. That's really neat. True, you're separated. Only temporarily, and physically. Emotionally, you're one. *sighs* Nice.
Best to all. Catch you soon.
