Busier'n a one-arm paperhanger in a wind-storm this time of year! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

I do try to "STOP" once a week (on Wednesdays) and pray for all my other hurrting brothers and sisters.

HEY, HEY, HEY! Just mostly been lurking about, praying for everyone and staying busy at home. Restoration is just around the corner - I can feel it in the air! So much has happened, so much unexpected lately. It feels great to be alive! Praise the Almighty! Bless all of you today!!!

One key to a pleasant experience with me is to tip me [not over]just before the exam. A happy doctor is a happy exam!!! I am still around just not much to say, but I do come in and laugh! I see that Single is still being jolly! Cracks me up!
Did you get your shih tzu yet? Think about ya often. Just had lots of devil things to fight off lately. Divorce court is coming up on March 25 - pray guys! Have comp court too. They knocked my amount down this week - oh yes goodie! Don't know how much more this ole ticker can take. Nerves are not steady. I pray more!

Hi Love. Good to hear from you! I am sorry things have been tough for you lately. I am sure God will provide for you. I wish there was something practical I could do for you, but I'll say a prayer for you... at the very least I can do that. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

I DID get a dog and he is such a sweetie! As you know I have been praying for a dog for a long time.

I had met a lady and mentioned I was looking for a dog and although I had only met her once, she remembered that I wanted a dog. Her friend a trucker, had come across this stray dog and taken him to the vet. From there they took him to the pound (a few hours away from us).

They were going to have the dog put down that evening if the owner didn't come forward so the guy took him home and called his friend, who called me.

He is a pure bred sheltie and what a sweetheart he is. It is obvious he has been abused. <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" /> The vet figures him to be about 2 or 3 years old. He is very thin but very pretty.

It has been a couple weeks now and he's getting less and less handshy and more and more confident.

I know it sounds silly but my H and I are learning so much from this little dog about ourselves and God is teaching us by watching him.

The other day it occurred to us that sometimes we are like this little dog, all the Father wants to do is just love us and lavish His kindness on us, and we turn from Him in fear.

OOOooo I am really enjoying having a dog again Love, I am already trying to talk H into getting a second one. I would have a housefull if I could! LOL

I'm around, not lurking, just keeping my priorities in order. My praying to God has incresaed some and my Bible and other spritual reading has improved as well. I am having a blast with my the children God has bestowed upon me, being a "better father". The R w/W is still on the road to D <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" /> , but, I have given it over to God to handle (man, is it difficult to NOT interfere in what He is doing, especially when I can't see anything happening, but us growing further apart). Tonight I meet with my church's Spiritual Director. I have been looking forward all week. I want to live, be and do by God's Word and not rely on my own understanding.
Gotta stop here before I get hooked again.
I miss ALL OF YOU and I have you in my prayers.

The more I've been giving up in faith the more I've been getting back.
Just one comment about dogs, mine is a fur angle she's helped me through the last 12 months with unconditional love and acceptance...ever spell dog backward? It's funny... it doesn't matter where you look if it's unconditional love Gods name is all over it

I am so glad you got a new family member! I raised Shelties for many years, but am a collie girl and the smaller dogs just did not do it for me. Oh I do love the little guys, just so pretty.
It is a shame that this little one had such a rough go of someone being mean to him. He will come out of it fine. Shyness is one of the Sheltie traits though.
Join a obedience group - call local shelter and they will tell you where. Years ago I had a collie bought at 2yrs old and she was awfully shy. After 16 weeks I had a new dog! I ran my own classes and she worked them with me- had a great time many years ago!

Thank you for the nice comments and prayers offered - sure could use a hundred. Today got a letter from Comp that they are cancelling my money due to a court hearing without me! So no money for Feb! I did call in for unemployment, but that is no where near my comp amount. Gosh just seems good ole devil is having field day here. It gets ok then wham. Doc still has me off as this arm is still no good and he is undecided as to what it is, but still leaning towards the possibility of Kienbocks Disease.
