First of all, I want to say how grateful i am of this website and this forum--especially the Prayer Request forum...it truly is a God-send and a refuge.

I am asking for prayer for my husband....it has been 1 1/2 years since i had told him of an affair i had with his brother(which i haven't been proud of and have totally lived up to). He has been a saint in this, and has been going to an anger-management group to get through it all. He really wants this marriage to work and so do i. He says he is not "there" yet in total commitment and dedication. PLEASE pray for his heart to be mended and healed and for God to work a miracle upon this marriage. I am a totally different person than i was back then--i am ashamed and disgusted for what i let happen and for hurting my wonderful husband. We have been through a major rollercoaster ride this past 1 1/2 years. What holds us together is our love still for each other after all of this happened, and our dedication to our children and our family. PLEASE pray that God will renew and restore our marriage even to a better state than what it was previously (we had troubles even before the affair). I believe that God can do it and is for this marriage to be even better than we can imagine. Because this affair happened with a family member (again, i cannot believe that i was involved in such a horrendous situation), it has added another dimension to the whole healing process--there is such rage and anger towards his brother...he claims that he is more disappointed in me, but rageful and more blaming towards his brother. PLEASE also pray for the bitterness to be removed from my husband's heart and for God to lead him to peace and forgiveness. This sounds impossible in the "physical" world, but God is more than able to accomplish this.

THANK YOU for all your prayers~~ xoxoxox I very much appreciate them and will report back often to give updates. God bless you all!!!! xoxo

Praying for you.

It sounds as if you are in a similar place to me - truly regretting what you did, and wanting to move on. Fortunately, it sounds as if your H wants to also. My W is not as convinced <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" /> .

I hope that you are both able to find peace, and reconcilliation.

God Bless,
Richard
