I have an assignment for you. Your assignment, should you choose to accept it, is to read the entire book of Psalms, and in your journal, write down every promise where God promises to defeat our enemies and be with us. You assignment is to completely give your WS to God, trusting HIM that He will deal with him/her and move in his/her life when HE is ready, and trusting that it will not be through you. He will use someone else. Finally, your assignment is to look at, study, and become thoroughly familiar with Plan B. Read everything on this site about the Plan B letter and about Plan B. Read everything in the books about Plan B. And begin to prepare to enter a silent Plan B next week.

Let's use this thread to discuss how you are doing on your assignment. What promises did you see in Psalm 1??

I will do this. I appreciate you investing the time to open this avenue of encouragement and accountability. Right now I'm simply too freakin' twisted up to think straight. (See this post )
Okay, howmuchmore. I hear ya. It's a bad night. I adjust your assignment for tonight:

Okay...so practical advice. Pick ONE THING you can do tomorrow to protect your kids. I suggest that you work on finding an intermediary. How about asking your pastor, a person from church, or a friend whom you trust. Take ONE STEP toward defending your family tomorrow.

And I will help you in your first assignment:
"Blessed is the man that walks not in the council of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful...but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law does he meditate day and night."

What promise to you see here? Come on, HMM. It's ONE VERSE. You can do it!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Promises from Psalm 1:
There is joy for those who do not follow wicked advice, stand with sinners, or join mockers.
If you spend time with the Lord, you will be well nourished and flourishing.
Wicked people will be condemned and have no place among godly people.
God takes care of the godly, but wicked people are headed for destruction.

I just came in from counseling this a.m. I'll post on other thread.
Promises from Psalm 2:
This one was vague for me. God promises that his son will be king, and he will give the nations to him. He warns the rulers of the earth to serve Jesus and submit to him or they will be destroyed.
