Wow...yesterday was three years from d-day. The Tue after Mother's day.

What's most funny is that I didn't even think about that until late last night. And when I did...no big deal. Was more surprised that it DIDN'T bother me than anything else.

What a difference in 3 years...
3 years ago today, she was living in a motel, trying to convince our kids that what she was doing was ok, that somehow we'd still be a family...etc...

This morning she got up with me while I got ready for work in a very playful mood. We joked and laughed...caught part of House this morning that we'd recorded from last night...tried to get me to stay home from work to finish watching it with her (but totally understood why I couldn't miss work). A FUN, GREAT MORNING.

I won't even mention that this is 'd-week anniversary to her...no reason too. Things are great...right now we're planning on how we're going to renew our vows this Oct, since it's our 20th anniversary then.

Just wanted to vent a bit of good mood today! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Good to hear OWL.

Mrs. W and I just passed 2 years since D-day around the end of April and two years ago this week she was in a hotel with OM. The "holiday" was barely acknowledged and really not noticed at all.

Now, 2 years forward...I'll be in a hotel with her this weekend with no concerns whatsoever about 2005, guaranteed.

And...we won't be crocheting either <snicker> <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

This made me LAUGH!!! My wife and I will be going on a trip in a couple of weeks to a 'get away' place here in our area...we'll be staying in a motel too. And I promise you...there will be no yarn or crochet hooks in sight!!! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Hi Owl!

I remember when I first started posting on MB you were one of the first to respond. Of course I can't remember exactly what you said (I'm sure it was great, lol!), I do remember that you said someone had asked you to look at my thread, so you did...

Thanks!

Happy morning and happy hookin', lol!
