I briefly heard a radio report that Lisa Nowak is supposedly planning to claim insanity in her love-triangle assault on a fellow astronaut.

The link to the MSNBC article is below.

In addition to wondering how MBers would vote on the jury, I'm also curious whether or not 'temporary insanity' should be a viable defense involving an A?

I think it was the aliens and the probes that caused the brain damage in her case, personally.

Y'know D.....it is funny....but it's also so sad. I have a whole different perspective now.

Has there been a precedent set on this type of defense involving an A?

Does having an affair make one insane or does insanity lead to having an affair?

Hope the jury isn't made up of MBers or she could get away with it...

We all know that affairees are insane. The affair fairy makes them that way.

Mark (Checking my spelling so as not to make moronic misspellings that get caught by big-haired Aquanet wearing well made-up Texans)
A woman wearing a diaper from Texas to Florida? I agree, she is crazy!!!

Could she get away with it? She's a WW as well as a BS from her perception.

Hmmmmmmmm.........
Ace,

Let's just leave it at "She's nuts!"

I think her perception might be a symptom of her condition...

Be sure and look me up! We have met lots of MBers over the years.

From MSNBC:
Attorney says his client suffered from depression, 'brief psychotic disorder'

Yep, I sure could have used that one, too. I remember telling my H when she was first arrested, although I feel like I did some pretty off the wall stuff, I was nowhere near as crazy as she was. I admit there were days I sure felt like I was. I don't even like to think about that "crazed" feeling I had right before I fell head first over the deep-end. Lucky for me my FOM was the only person to witness the "Crazy LC" and it wasn't plastered all over the news.
