Here are my answers:

1) I am sticking with BA.

2) It wasn't "stealing." I gave notice in advanced. In addition, schoolbus made guesses and assumptions about me , meaning facts that were all over the map (obviously mostly not true) and she never apologized for that. My use of schoolbus1 was not sneaky, becaue people knew or will have known very soon.

3) It was meant to be a joke (just like what I posted above)and I was going to delete it right after Orchid realized it.

I've learned that I can't even make a joke in here. I will try not to joke from now on.

No problem. Those are good questions that we would all like the answers to but I wouldn't hold your breath. As BA has demonstrated over and over again, the likelihood of BA being honest about anything is practically nil.

I'm encouraged to know you understand the cyber game playing you attempted is inappropriate on this forum. The infidelity boards, GQII and the OC board in particular, are full of hurt and pain. We need members that will lift up other members and assist them in understanding and using the Harley's principles.

If you haven't already, I would strongly advise you read the forum articles by the Harley's to understand those methods and principles.

years ago, I was a member of a forum devoted 2 VW campers. We had a troll show up, claiming all kinds of engineering degrees and mechanic's experience. At best, he had some so-so suggestions about common problems we were dealing with. But it was pretty clear early on that he didn't have the experience he claimed. What he did have was a knack for getting long-time list members all a'flutter over what 2 do with his "advice". The more we argued, the more he posted.

When I asked him the same question I asked BA above, he disappeared.

You ask a good question. Mel has been on board for a long time. Her posts are valuable but we must remember she is here on a voluntary basis.

I am not privy to her current status but can understand if she needs a rest.

Mel will begin posting when she is ready. We can't expect more than that.

What we can do in the interim is put into practice the good kind of posting Mel has done. So maybe we ought to emphasize on what about Mel's posts have helped us? Then maybe we can keep Mel's furvor alive. I am sure she would be pleasantly surprised if she saw some of us improve by putting her good skills into practice. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I advocate take the good and throw out the bad in many instances. We all have good and sometimes bad or not worthy types of posting.

Basically once you realize that I quoted your info, I would automatically take it off. I said "how are you" or something just to throw you off for a temporary basis and was hoping you would respond to that and THEN immediately REALIZE what I did. But, I had the intention to take it off right after you realize what I was doing and NO intention of leaving your information there for long. Now, I realize it wasn't perceived as funny like my post above.



Like many posters have said about their WS: "words means nothting to me, only action matters." So, I guess only time will tell.

I certainly understand your concern. Mel has been invaluable to this board. We may not always agree on everything but I do respect her input. Dang. That's what I was afraid of. I understand her frustration though. Heck, I've only been here a year and I've thought of going away because I just don't get the kid-gloves when it comes to KNOWN trolls and scalawags.

But you know what. MB is under attack because the enemy recognizes that it is a marvelous tool for restoring families. The enemy's number one goal is to destroy families. In our rookieness, PM, we may not have seen the cycles like others have. It was said when JL 'left' that we must respect his choices to take a break (long or short) and he has been posting again occasionally....even as recently as last night. Helping others appears to be inherent for JL and he said he was touched by our farewell messages.

I agree with some of your points, PM but chose to think that our Veteran MB posters are above the control of trolls and our own bickering with each other. As I've noticed on the ancient ('seasoned' or as K called himself 'overbaked') MB Vets Reunion thread, this place is both perfume and poison, depending on one's perspective...and that POV changes often.

I took a break a week after I registered and nearly did not come back. I recently discovered that speculations about my reasons for taking a break caused a mini-furor over 10 months later. By the time I found out, (quite by accident I might add...and I don't even remember the thread now) it had blown over and the thread has since slid into oblivion...I think.

Mel helped me tremendously (even if she mis-gendered me) and I will always be grateful. I trust that she will be back because being helpful is inherent in her nature like JL's. But if not, that is her choice and I will respect it, even if it makes me sad. <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/teary.gif" alt="" />
