Prozac<BR>Pros/Cons?<BR>Side effects?<P>any others that someone may have tried and liked, would like to know that also.<P>Thanks,<BR>ILAC<P>

I've been on Paxil for nearly 6 weeks. It has done wonders to even out my roller coaster of emotions, but took 2-3 weeks to really take effect. No side effects yet, that I've noticed.

I have been on celexa, an antidepressant for two months and I think it's saved me. I've had no side effects, I've been able to work and somewhat sleep, and everyone tells me how good I'm doing and I think that the meds have really helped me.<P>------------------<BR>

I am on Zoloft and find it helps me a lot. I don't leave home without it........lol.

My WS has been on celexa for 2 months. It helped in some ways. He doesn't cry at the drop of a hat and doesn't get agitated as quickly. But he still can't make decisions even though he's thinking clearer. He also has the inability to climax. We are seperated and he is seeing someone else. I'm not sure if it's just me.<BR>

It is very hard to decide what is best for you.<P><BR>DeputyWife-One of the reasons I am asking about ad's is because of very slight signs of depression. Just the inabilit to organize the thoughts in my head, sleeping patterns-going from insomnia to exhaustion, and my mood patterns. But, the other reason, is my S has been seeing a counselor because of anger control issues and moodiness. They think there is a slight ADD characteristic, but not enough to medicate. He does very well in school. But, at home with his two younger siblings, there is always conflict. It is scary for me. I grew up in a house that I was the middle child and both B and S had issues. Always bad fights and no respect. So, the counselor noted that my S seems to have this problem with relaying information in his brain. Which happens in ADD people. He might do something one minute that he KNOWS is wrong, then immediately following...he is sorry for doing it. He cant control the thoughts in his head. Not like OCD though.<BR>So, he will be going on medication to treat that. <BR>Sorry for rambling on..to get to the point, maybe your H is being treated for depression, but, is there something more going on that he isnt being treated for?

I have been on Effexor for 16 days. It has definitely improved my spirits - I'm still depressed over my W's affair, but I'm not crying every five minutes as I was the previous 25 days. It took about 12 days before I began to notice a difference.<P><BR>Brad

Zoloft for me too, 100 mg/day. Also Atavan (or generic) to help sleep.<P>WAT

Prozac <P> Took Prozac started working within a week. <BR> Made me tired sometimes (or the depression is just exhausting) I would jump at the smallest thing. But sure are great for the obsession. I need to get back on them. GOD BLESS<P>------------------<BR>Deb
