Still praying for you.

Wondering how you're doing?

Hey Lupo....I am doing O.K. I still miss and want my family so bad it hurts. I guess you read about my "former" wife calling. After that, the girl I am seeing asked me a question. She said " If your wife came to you right now and asked to work things out for the kids sake. What would you do"? I could not answer her because I know I would drop everything for that opportunity. I realized right then that until I can answer that question I needed more time. I knew God was telling me to not give up on my wife just yet or on God.

Thursday was my sons graduation from middle school. They are 50 mile away. I decided to go early to the florist and have flowers (yellow roses) sent the next day to my "former" wife with a simple card I picked out. In the card I said, "We really need to talk. I will be at the park at 5:00." That nite at the graduation was really hard because I wanted my "former" wife sitting next to "me" watching "our" son graduate.

I didn't expect my wife to show up at the park or did I even expect to hear from her but she sent me a text message on my cell phone at 4:50 that said "I can't".

I really am doing O.K. because I just feel like I am doing what God wants me to be doing right now. My dad saw our assistant pastor at a funeral the other day and he said " Your son and Alan (Singles dept. Director) are doing a great job with the singles dept." That made me feel good and at the same time a little scared because I realized just how many people God is letting me touch and just how many people are seeing my change.

A side note.....Thursday nite after my sons graduation my mom, dad and I went to eat. My mother and father in-law came in to eat. I haven't talked to them in 1.5 years. Something told me (Gods conviction) to go talk to them before I left. I was scared but I did. We actually had a good conversation and actually laughed a little bit. When I got to my car I praised God for the opportunity and realized if God does put my wife and I together again I will be able to face my mother and father in-law.

I'm also sorry you didn't get what you "wanted" or expected from your "x"W at your son's graduation, but you know better than to have any expectations anyway!! So you kinda set yourself up for that one.

But I believe God still has you firmly in His grasp.....DON'T let go of that!

As far as your IN's - I believe you are seeing God's restoration process beginning.... with them first!! PTL!!!

Thanks for checking in (I knew you were logged on yesterday, that's why I asked about you!) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

God Bless you, my brother.

HI Caj & Lupo, sorry I haven't been on board since April, it's been a crazy life these days, my students music production is this Thurday and it's been very busy but I still think of you guys and plan on getting back to MB in a week or so.
I'm glad to hear your doing ok Caj, still praying for you! I'm sorry you're feeling blue, but glad to know you are leaving all this in the Lord's hands. It's gonna take me a while to catch up so I'll be back in two weeks! God Bless you both for all your prayers for us all!
Love in Christ, SW
