Who'd have ever thought I'd be asking for this one of all people, but my ex has fallen from bad times to worse and for the sake of our kids I'd appreciate you sending some positive vibes his way.

He was in an accident in February that totalled his truck. He missed work from that, and from being sick, and has been late to work enough times that he lost his job. I noticed a few months ago that child support stopped, but the kids said he was still working, so I figured it was a snafu in the CS disbursement system. He's three months behind now.

He needs a job, cheap transportation, and for the love of all that is good in this world, he needs to move out of his parents' house where he has been since 2000 when we separated. For more than a few obvious reasons.

Last thing he needs is to go to jail for non-payment. I don't know if there is anything I can do as the payee to prevent that from happening. You can't get a job if you're in jail. Besides, he'd blame ME if that happened, and the kids have to witness far too much negativity as it is; I'd rather not fuel the fire.

Wow! It's great that you have come to that kind of healing. I have found myself praying for my x at times. It really made a difference in my life when I felt that was what I needed to do.

It just breaks my heart that I KNEW a month before it happened that it was coming ... I simply KNEW and couldn't do a damn thing.

I hope this doesn't come across the wrong way, but you said in your other post: "My ex passed away in early Sept. ", was this a different ex?? Seems you've had some really tough times <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

One ex. I asked for prayers on 8/6/07. He was found dead 9/6/07. It was really upsetting to me that there was no one close enough to him to see what was coming, when he hated me but I could see it a mile away.
