Just in case any MBs were planning to go to see the movie Code 46 with their BS/WS.... try another one.
Part of the plot involves an A, and although its ambiguous (and set in the future where they do things like wipe memories), the BS seems to know about the A and not react at all!!
I saw it with my BS and it made for a very uncomfortable evening...

Actually I think in general that the depiction of As in movies, TV and books is often totally unrealistic, and it can be really hurtful and irritating to people who have actually been through the experience. Any thoughts?

Thanks SMUR I saw the previews but didn't know it had anything to do with A's. So many movies choose to intertwine infidelity into their scripts with no regard of reality. Everything is a trigger these days, even commericals, sound bytes, etc....Of course I don't let to my FWW on that it bothers me. We aren't far enough in recovery for that type of radical honesty. I bite my tongue and stay in Plan A <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

I did not see Code 46, but I did see Unfaithfull. I think the reason it didn't hit home more is because nothing happened to the WW. The OM is killed, the BH can be arrested for murder, but she comes out Scott free. In fact, in the Time article, Diane Lane said that women thanked her for the role as she was able to have an affair because she chose to have one. Go figure!

That's why I rarely watch TV or see movies these days unless I am absolutely sure of the content. So instead,I watch Zoom,Looney Tunes or programs like The Crocodile Hunter with my kids to ensure no exposure to Infidelity. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
