Am I hearing you correctly? Pre-A you felt balanced. Dedicated and loyal to only each other. Post A you feel unbalanced cuz he has experienced what you haven't? (Has the "one up" on you in other words)??

I have friends in the St. Louis area who would love the tix if you're not going to use them. Heck, I may fly up there myself! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/pfft.gif" alt="" />

Rocked....
Yes, that is part of it. There is definitely that aspect. I know...crazy huh? But the other thing is that I feel that we are unbalanced because he became this weird immoral liar for a couple of months...and I feel like there is a moral imbalnce now as well. I know that is even CRAZIER...but it is how I feel.

I am sure I will use the tickets...just a matter of logistics. Sorry!

If you look at sin in "degrees", then yes. Burn dinner=1pt. Lying=2pts. Immoral thoughts=3pts. Affair=10pts. Major unbalance.

However in God's eyes it looks more like this: Burn dinner=10pts. Lying=10pts. Immoral thoughts=10pts. Affair=10pts. Anything less than perfection is sin and is evil in his sight. Granted there are varying degrees of "consequences" for different sins.

Now, for those who claim to be Christ-followers it looks like this: Burn dinner=0pts. Lying=0pts. Immoral thoughts=0pts. Affair=0pts. Because Jesus has forgiven us of all our immorality, from burnt toast to affairs.

Don't get me wrong, this truth doesn't minimize our hurt feelings or emotional struggles relationally...or dismiss our responsibility to live right, it just gives us a clear pic of God's take on balance. Make sense?

Let me guess...you played in the brass section?

I marched pregame at the opening game of a Philadelphia Phillies baseball game many moons ago.

Hey Guys. I'm just sitting here doing my journaling for my scrapbooks on the computer because I hate my handwriting. I am having to go back and look at dates from several years back (I hate journaling) to get it right for the scrapbook. As I write down the dates and the memories of the event, it is making me very sad. I've had no problem creating the pages from pictures taken during his A, but having to write about how happy and normal everything seemed, is turning out to be really hard for me.

Just needed someone to share that with. I'm home by myself and it is late and I am feeling sad.

2,

I am so sorry you were hurting last night. That is a painful thing. I felt the same way when I wrote in my kids' journal back in February. But you will get through it. It is tough, especially when you are by yourself.

We are here if you are still feeling down.

Holiday,
I'll be in prayer for you, that God heals you from your Bear disease. This could take prayer and fasting tho.

Go Jags!

Oops. I didn't see 2's post before I typed my silliness. Didn't mean to ignore your feelings 2. Hang in there. You'll make it. We're praying for you.

True,
So how was the celebration?
