Hey Holiday...

You are right..and I know that I am wrong here. I just had some weak moments. I am just really hurt today, ya know. Probably PMS also.

I usually applaud his efforts and know that he is TRYING soooo hard to correct his "mistake". I tell him that I am proud of him and that I appreciate all the effort..in effect nothing like I say a BS should be And I tell him often that I love him, and always will. I tell him that he is part of my family..he has been around longer than my little brother..and I could never not love him..even if I had left him...I LOVE him!! It was just a hard day...well, a hard couple of weeks that exploded today.

As for the dinner...well, we ARE making one of his favorites..but we are also having a sleepover...so we'll see how special it makes him feel.

Thanks for the advice!!!! I mean it!

Hey, us guys can't claim PMS days! What do I have to use as an excuse for days I act like a jerk?

If any of you gals mentions "old age" I'm gonna let you have it!

You're most welcome True.

Sometimes we get so tightly wound into this little ball our spouses have created for us, that we can't unwind it fast enough to see things.

2-Great for you! May I ask, were you always doing these things prior to the A too, or just during the A and do you think you were doing them because subconciously something was wrong? What I mean to say is do you think you were tuned into the A and did the "special" things because you were receiving even less attention than normal? I would think then now, it would be very difficult to want to do anything for him. I'm so very proud of you taking that step forward.

What messes with my head is that my H was doing "special" things for me before, during and after. He keeps telling me the A's were physical or fantasy or just plain different.

I think back now, right before this last one, we went on a beautiful cruise. It had been almost 2 years since the first A and I think I was still in that "non trusting", "not totally attentive", "screw it", "more fish in the sea" mood. That's why I am trying so hard to change that way of thinking. My H didn't feel me open up to him any longer and once again I left that d*mn door ajar.

holiday

Thank you, thank you! Rocked I was actually going to ask you if it was corny to give him a rose. I wasn't sure if I should have left him a 6 pack and a girly magazine! Seriously though, rose OK, even for a very manly man?! It was a spur of the moment thing and I didn't know what else to get.

HA! "Drunk on lust" is what that other option would have got him. Gimmeabreak!

Alternative to roses:
1- Coupons for backrubs
2- $ and 4 hours for golf (w/o guilt)
3- Planning a surprise dinner out for steak (or fav food)
4- Sexy pic of yourself hidden in his briefcase
5- New clothes (or shoes)
6- Making him feel like you TRUST HIM!!! (even if temporarily)

Been there, done that. My oldest son is 17.

Actually, I'd rather do a party for teens than for little munchkins. Just my pref.

Look forward to chatting with the rest of you all tamale'.

[color:"purple"] Good morning to you, good morning to you...we're all in our places with bright shining faces....anybody else ever had to sing that song in school?? I had to sing it every morning to my 2nd grade teacher..I won't go into my feelings about that woman. She is the reason I became a teacher....so that no child ever had to have a teacher like that!!!

Anyway, hope you all had excellent weekends. Mine was ok. I did not turn any new corners or have any major insights this weekend, but I guess you can't expect that all the time.

2, How was your retreat??? I hope that you had a great time!

Holiday, Did the party go well? Unlike Rocked, I prefer the little ones...my 9 year old is already becoming a teenager in her attitudes!! Aggghhhhhhh!!!!!!!

Rocked, Are you drowning down there?? All I see in rain in the forecasts. What happened to SUNNY Florida???

TTYL!

[color:"blue"] Ok...for the computer illiterate(which was also me until Hubbie showed me how)....before you type anything press on a color.

[color:"red"]There will be some words about color in brackets(2 sets). Type what ever you want to write between these two sets of words.

[color:"orange"] Hopefully you will see what I mean! It is hard to explain online. I felt like an idiot when my H showed me how to do it. Oh well. I guess we all need to learn something new each day

[color:"pink"] True

[color:"brown"] OH!!! I forgot...you cannot do the color thing if you use the quick reply feature. Hope this helps you out.
