It would be great to get everyone together. I haven't been to one before, so any tips/advice are welcome.
I'll start with the idea that we would find a convenient location for us (everyone is welcome). So, let me know where you are located and we'll figure out a good meeting point.

I tried a few in the Philly area, but little response.
I'm close to NYC, and could possibly get GG to make her way up this way. Karona & SR have a standing invite to visit.

Western PA in Wintertime is not a good idea. In fact, an overpass collapsed on the interstate I use through PA

I happen to be in the NYC area on business until Wednesday or so...after that, I am doing a tour of the east coast, so to speak. NYC ->Philly ->Wilmington ->DC area ->Fredrickburg ->Norfolk and then back to NYC... If y'all (yes, I am from TX!) are getting together on Wed, I can most likely make it...if anyone else wants to grab a coffee in any of the other cities, let me know... I'll be visiting my dad in ME for several days at the end of the month... otherwise I'm on the opposite coast but I've missed the MB get-togethers there. I guess that's a long way from NYC, but I'll have a rental car...
I expect to be visiting my dad several more times this year. He's 98 and just moved into assisted living on Thursday. I have a brother in CT and another near DC who are always wanting me to visit...

How about a little bigger get-together on a cruise out of Florida? Perhaps in late spring or early summer. A 4-day cruise out of Port Canaveral or Tampa is fairly inexpensive and would probably be a lot of fun!
