It's freaky how lil round yellow dude is just floating above the kleenex box. Am I the only one bothered by this?

jayne, you're still up! I saw my mom this evening after her hernia surgery, oh, man, she is really suffering, pain, nausea from all the pain meds frown I have to keep reminding myself that she's going home Thursday; she's going to be okay; this, too, shall pass. You and your kids are so lucky, to get a vacation with your mom!

I have a question, sort of related...

How can I spend 15 hours a week UA with chocolate if I want to have a totally fulfilling relationship with my one true love, because I have to tell you, if anyone thinks I can spend 15 hours ALONE and unguarded with chocolate, its life expectancy is WAY shorter than 15 hours!

Yer welcome

SO can anyone tell me how to POJA Flick eating the dang chocolate which I have now hidden in a cupboard for my own sanity (he knows where it is) before I break down and IB, SD, DJ AH, AO & D.

*translation: I eat it myself, I demand he lets me eat it, I say "if you love me...", I whine about the chocolate, I scream "GIVE ME SOME CHOCOLATE!", I steal the chocolate and blame it on the cat.*

Well, lil, you can have a totally FILLING relationship.

But I agree, having a FULFILLING relationship might be tough, given the nature of the two parties involved. Sorta like how some mothers eat their young at birth.

I would imagine the chocolate would have to make the ultimate sacrifice and allow itself to be eaten.

So then the other party would have to move on to another partner, the OC (other chocolate), thereby commiting chocoliatal infidelity.

And the cycle of abuse continues.

I think the chocolate as a marital simile is breaking down here grin

If I eat any other flavor of ice cream, I feel guilty in deceiving my one true love:

Mint Choc Chip.

OH - you and I were DEFINITELY separated at birth. Mint Choc Chip is about all I eat. And that doesn't mean mint chips with choc chips in vanilla ice cream, as I'm sure you know... it means a good strong minty ice cream with creamy tasty choc chunks in it. laugh

I'd like to add an amendment to tst's declaration above as well:

"Ice cream flavors do NOT have to be POJA'd as long as the individual party takes full responibility for the consumption of his/her own flavor."

My husband likes pistachio. Right color (sorta). Wrong flavor. Ewwwww.

I do like B&J in small amounts (don't have a sweet tooth really)

OH, we have that POJA regarding ice cream flavour in our house, in fact had it pre MB. I like caramel and chocolate type ones, Flick likes chocolate chip ones (I dont like the hard lumps. Ice cream should be soft) and DD likes the weird and wild flavours like lime and orange, Liquorice, and hokey pokey which ok, but has hard lumps.
