If you gave your husband a list of actions that you would like to meet your need for affection in very concrete terms, would he be willing to do some of them?

Here are some examples.

Hug me before you leave for work and when you come home.
Say "I love you" every morning.
Hold my hand when......
Send me an e-greeting card every Wednesday from work

It may help him to have very specific requests. What to do and when to do them.

Explain that you feel good when he does these things, and then you want to do things that please him. Maybe he could make a list for you, that may help him see the. Value.

If this seems artificial, it will feel more natural with time. Realize that this takes an extra effort for him, and that effort is .......affection.
